Dhow

Freight operations

Reconcile freight invoices before the month-end close.

Dhow matches carrier invoices to bookings, flags rate drift and keeps an audit trail your finance team can actually follow. Built with forwarders working out of Dubai and Jebel Ali.

What it does

Invoice matching

Line-level matching against bookings, with tolerances you set per carrier.

Rate drift alerts

Catch surcharges and bunker adjustments before they are posted to the ledger.

Audit trail

Every match, edit and approval is stamped, exportable for the finance close.

Recent changes

  • v1.4.0Carrier templates for two Gulf feeders; faster batch import.
  • v1.3.2Tolerance rules now apply per charge code, not per invoice.
  • v1.3.0Added the month-end close checklist and CSV exports.

Docs & support

Operators usually start with a single lane and two carriers. The setup guide walks through charge codes, tolerance bands and the approval flow, and the importer accepts CSV exports from most forwarding systems.

Dhow runs inside your own network. Bookings and invoices are matched locally; nothing is sent to a third party, and the database can be backed up with a single command.
